Movie star and motorcyclist Branscombe Richmond has done much to promote a positive image of motorcycling, and served in recent years as national spokesman and vice president in the Office of Public Affairs for the now-defunct Indian Motorcycle Company, a reincarnation of the original Indian Motocycle Company.
He got his start on two wheels on a minibike as a kid and later rode a Bultaco dirtbike. He then moved on to streetbikes, and is a big fan of Indian Chiefs.
As a professional actor, Richmond has starred in numerous TV series and movies including the Renegade TV series, Walker Texas Ranger, Action Jackson, The Scorpion King, Bay Watch and more. He has earned several awards over the years, including USA’s Native American Entertainer of the Year and the CMA People's Choice Award for Humanitarian of the Year.
Richmond, who lives in Southern California, has a band called "Branscombe Richmond and the Renegade Posse" that performs at major motorcycle rallies and other venues.
He was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2003.
